The Texas A&M Law Review is currently accepting symposium proposal submissions for the 2025–2026 academic year. Proposal submissions will be continuously accepted, with preference given to proposals submitted on or before April 1, 2025.

Proposals should be between 2–3 pages and include the following information:
  • A detailed description of the symposium topic (including background information, timeliness and relevance, and how the topic contributes to legal scholarship);
  • A description of the proposed format (including the structure of panels and speakers for a live event);
  • A list of potential speakers and panelists (those confirmed and anticipated);
  • A list of potential authors who could write articles and/or commentaries for the symposium issue;
  • Any available funding sources (please note that additional funding is not required, but it is encouraged as it helps offset the Law Review's costs); and
  • Contact information for proposed symposium organizers (those who will work directly with the Law Review Board).
If the Texas A&M Law Review moves forward with hosting a symposium, an accompanying issue of the Law Review will be dedicated to the publication of symposium pieces. We anticipate publishing seven to nine articles and/or commentaries in the symposium issue.

Please send proposal submissions and direct any questions to our Symposia Editor, Tripper Warlick, at symposia.editor@lawreview.law.tamu.edu. We appreciate your interest and look forward to reviewing your proposals!
